D,

A few weeks ago my friend the owl sat on a limb outside my bedroom window and sang away. My Hubby didn't hear a thing . So far three elderly family members have passed away in a short period of time  ( listen to me I'm in my seventys )  I've learned to pay attention when Mr. Owl comes to pay a visit. I firmly believe that the owl is a messanger  ( in my case at least .)  Have you had visits from him ?

Tash,

Any animal can be a messenger, including Owl.  I hear Owls all the time when others don't.  Owls have gotten a bad rap as harbingers of death, which they are not.  This is particularly prevalent in Native cultures.

I also work with Owl as one of my lifelong animal spirits.  They see in darkness and are always in stealth mode.

Tashina and d, We love the owls, too. We don't hear them often, and tend to note when we do.

So when We heard the owls, several of them, going on and on late one night in 2006. I was concerned that a young one had fallen out of it's nest..So out I went and there were maybe 3 talking away and hoping around high in the trees. They didn't seem distressed, just chatty.

Several  months later I finally heard that my Mother had driven herself to the hospital, laid down, went to sleep and passed over in less then a day. She had had a full 85 yrs and was ready to go.

We had long had our conflicts. Quite a triangle. Mother, brother and me. Not much room for me. And at age 42 I refused to play the old games finally after I was physically attacked by my 6'4″ brother..

When my health took a turn for the worst, the time went so fast,so I never went back to see my Mom.

When we heard that she had passed, to B came a memory of those owls and we wondered.

A while later an owl came again, very loud three hoots repeated, that we both heard,,and wondered..Long about three months later when we got a call out of the blue and B's Mother had passed after a very long full life.

We  deeply appreciate the owls letting us know something might be coming.I feel that it was a message from my Mother via the owls. Or perhaps it could be from Someone who wishes us to be prepared.

I think our Mothers sent those owls.Kiss
