I explored this more, when the next day (on another forum), a lady asked if I could find her animal guide for her. I said I'd give it a try, and again there was the vision of a large, muscular Malmute-looking dog to my left – standing there close enough to touch. Keeping my arm on the armrest of the recliner, I imagined in close detail the physical sensations of raising my arm, extending it and touching the animal's back. I intentionally could feel that too even though my physical arm still rested on the chair. Yep. That narrow flat back and thick coarse hair was a dog's for sure – the one I was seeing.

The dog stood patiently looking away while I did this. So I posted my reply on the forum what the animal I was seeing looked like: Large, stocky, grey back and flanks and a cream-colored belly.

The lady responded, saying she always thought her spirit guide animal was a white wolf, but that I had just described her REAL dog, an Australian-something.

The mod there posted, calling me a “Jack***”.

Hmmm. So, going to animalspirits website, I found out that Jack***'s Wisdom was

– stubbornness

– ability to make decisions

– refusing to move when you know it isn't right

– ignoring others' opinions

 

That's about it.

I know you posted this in the amusing part of the forum, but this is really pretty amazing.

Trusted those instincts and look where it got you!  

Yeah, I had a Black Faced Wolf come when I was reading your post also. When that happens to me, it means it  is one of your animal guides.  However, it is not associated with the Blackwolf guy.

You were in an altered state when you contacted that lady's Dog.  When you become able to communicate with animals, whether they are spirits or alive here, that is the way it happens.  That reply and/or vision is instantaneous.  You don't always control who comes to talk to you or whether they are in spirit or not.  That is why when I do pet communication work I always ask if the pet has crossed.  Sometimes, I see them in spirit and know they have crossed and I want to be especially easy in my reply.

You can feel them at times just like they are alive and in the room with you…and still be in an altered state.  I was in the hospital about 10 years ago very sick with pneumonia and Yotee Coyote and Orca were the two animal spirits that came to stay with me.   I remember one time I saw him walk past and I put my hand down and could feel his fur just like he was in the room with me.

I have no clue why that fool called you a jack***…sounds more like it was a self-description.    

Sometimes one's Pet can actually be an animal spirit or will be one when it crosses.

It does show you that you can go into an altered state and be sure you are in one.  You had two very good validations.

That's how it is for me.

I did try later to see an animal spirit guide for a lady online and got, “Otter”.

She was excited when she told me she used to have an otter stuffie that she carried around with her when she was little (until it fell apart from all the handling).

Otter is one of her lifelong animal spirits.  It is not unusual for the lifelong animal spirit to come to a child, who in turn will have one as a stuffed animal that is dearly loved.  Children are far more open to this type of thing than most adults.

You are spot with that.

This is an FYI, sometimes when you try and find the animal spirit for someone, nothing happens.  That is not due to anything you have done wrong.  Some of them simply will not acknowledge it.  I have even had them say “It is none of your business.”  They can get testy at times.  In that case, you just tell the person that the animal spirit choose not to reveal itself to you.  The usually means that the person is either not ready to accept the animal spirit or the animal spirit wants to present itself at a later date.

Otter represents female healing energy.

You will begin to separate the physical and spiritual when you are in an altered state after a time.  You are doing so very well with this.
