Diana,

I've been reading through the forum and saw that people use a lot of tools such as stones, crystals, wands, colors, etc. I used to know all about crystals and colors but felt like they were putting me in a box and moved away from them. I still love crystals and colors and scents but just for what they are and not for their “meaning.” I suspect that a tool becomes a box if you “put your mind to it,” so to speak. Would you agree?

I also wonder about astrology. I read certain sites that don't prognosticate as much as give the big picture, and I do this because I tend to get lost in details and like the perspective astrology gives. It shows me what a large group of people has embraced as true and will manifest. However, lately, I'm starting to feel its “boxiness.” Maybe it's just giving my mind something to chew on.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Thank you! Hugs.

Yes, I agree with you.

If you feel anything is a box, then for you it is.

Some people are further along recognizing what constituents a box for them than others…while others can use stones without it being a box for them.  Ultimately, ascension requires getting out of all the boxes, which can take years depending on the person's ability to recognize their boxes.

From your posts, you seem to be very adept at recognizing your boxes and dropping them.  That is a sign of an ever evolving soul.  Smile

Some people use them in healings and have good responses.  Those people are few and far between.  They recognize the vibration of each stone and it is that vibration that they are using, not the actual physical stone.  Once they recognize the vibration, they don't need the physical stone anymore.  That will ultimately lead to them being able to not use a tool, but rather to allow the All to manifest the healing vibration.

I, personally, do not use tools at all.  Ultimately, it is the All that does the healing, not the healer…so the use of tools has no importance in my healing.

Also, I don't use astrology much at all.  When I did long age, it was be like you use it…to see overall patterns.  However, once you become adept at doing that with astrology you will move away from it…which is what happened to me.  If I am given a situation, I am able to see the consequences of the action/situation unfurl like a red carpet.  I have found that most people don't believe me when I tell them what is going to happen, but it always does.  People that have known my spirituality for a long time understand this.

This can create a great deal of stress for the person doing the “telling.”  Over the years, I have adopted this:  “I told you what will happen.  You have the choice to believe me or not.  That is where my responsibility ends.”

It sounds harsh, but it is actually the reality of any given situation.  You can lead the Horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

Each soul ultimately has to walk its own path.  That is part of respect of personal boundaries…and it is hard to see others making mistakes you knew would happen.  You have to learn NOT to take that energy into your soul, but rather to let it go.  Of course, gloating to yourself is really not ethical as you are not the All.

Hope this helped some.

Questions are welcome.

Kiss

Diana,

I understand exactly what you’re saying. And thank you for your wisdom.

The most confining box I’ve put myself into is being a foreigner. That one has many smaller boxes inside it, and it’s been a long process to climb out of them. It’s all tied to self-acceptance though, and self-trust. I think that's a topic that came up many times for others on this site.

On a lighter note, I did a meditation earlier, and Mosquito took me to the bottom of the ocean. We saw some objects and came upon an open mailbox, all rusty, with its door flapping like a jaw. And Mosquito said, you don’t want to go near that thing! And I laughed and thought about your teaching of getting out of boxes. Laugh

It's very valuable to me to be able to talk through these things; it greatly reduces the static around me! Smile Thank you!

DanubePilot, Welcome, better late then never for a hello. This thread caught my interest and I would like to add my 2 cents worth.

I am one of the ones who work/play/know the Stones and crystal folks. I have to say that they are much more then tools in my experience.

Diana is right that once you know the energies, the stones and crystals are not necessary. Good hand chakras and a feeling for energy is really all that is needed. However, from sharing with friends and family I have learned that it is very nice to share something that can be helpful.

I have always done hands on healing, but tended to pick up energy from folks I worked on. I don't experience this beyond the sense of energy moving I feel when I use stones and crystals.

Also folks I worked on tended to fixate on me as their answer, now I can hand them a tool/friend to take home with them.

The stones and crystals are very specific. I seldom know what stone or crystal I am going to work with, until I pick it up. And I am always surprised to find myself giving one away.

Time after time I have seen someone feel the energy of a stone or crystal for the first time..Lots of folks have never felt energy move, so it is something special to share this experience.

Also, I see no reason to be in pain from energy blocks, or rough energy from these energetic adjustments. Once the energy flows freely, pain held in the physical, emotional, and mental bodies is released. I does feel like a miracle. Just simple energy. Like rewiring your car for a better electrical system..It is methodical and practical..

Actually very practical for someone like me who cannot tolerate chemicals. Between herbs and the stones I manage to maintain my heath.

I never give anything tool/stone/plant/etc. without first asking it if it wishes to go with the other person.  I always ask them if they want to come and live with me also.  If they say “no”, nothing exchanges as I am not the person destined to be a part of their lives.

I am a huge believer in boundaries and maintaining them…and that goes for everything.

D,

It's a great reminder for me. When I look around and observe society (myself included), I find that we Humans tend to think everything exists just for us. One of the core issues I'm dealing with through your guidance is boundaries: setting my own and respecting others'. It feels like a huge piece of the puzzle. Interestingly, when I have neutral intent and respect for boundaries, I don't have to analyze the other person's intentions or behavior, which frees up the encounter to be just what it is, not draining me like in the past.
