Diana,

I've been bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider (potent venom). I'm treating the wound naturally and so far have avoided the emergency room. What is the purpose when an animal bites or otherwise attacks you? I'm usually on very good terms with Spider… 🙂 Thank you so much.

DP,

I means that they are among your lifelong animal spirits.

Be very careful with that bite as they can get very bad fast and you will not be aware of it. The real damage takes place below the bite site.

Take care.

I don't feel nausea or anything like that, which is a good sign I think. The wound hasn't changed since yesterday. But yes, I'm keeping a close eye on it. Thank you Diana!

DP,

A bite from a Brown Recluse takes a long time to heal and it keeps getting worse before it gets better.  Usually the flesh around the bite rots and leaves a hole which can infect if you aren't careful.  Be very careful to looks for red streaks coming off the bite as that means in is going systemic into your blood stream.

Please keep me posted…I worry you know.  Kiss

I was given homeopathics. This morning the wound looks stable, no red streaks. A baking soda paste dressing seems to be pulling a lot of stuff out of it. Thank you Diana, you’re so kind. Kiss Update 8/20: the redness has almost completely faded; only the dark center spot remains but is healing, too. Looks like there'll only be a small hole left in my skin. Strangely, a Scorpion and a Kissing Bug recently showed up in our bed, too, but they only stung/bit my boyfriend. Everywhere I turn now there's Scorpion. I ask her what she wants to tell me but get no answer. I'm not sleeping so well after all these events.
