No. I want you to make the deck so the animals are coming to you and not to the person and company that made the cards.
Your deck should have way more than 33 animals and some of the ones that come to you will be different.
That is part of what makes it your deck and no one else's.
Also, I want it to not be connected to any spiritual group (such as Druid)…not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is a box and if you do it this way you will not be in a box with this deck.
I suggest that you buy 2 decks of 52 playing cards that are identical. You are going to find that once the animals start coming it is like the flood gates open. You may have 8 or more show up at once. Just write the name of each animal on a separate card. This is not going to be a huge mind blowing coming of an animal. They just start showing up to be in the deck.
Don't forget the insects. They have some of the most powerful teachings.
For an animal like a Snake, don't put different kinds of Snakes….like Cobra, Rattlesnake, etc. Just put Snake on the card.
My deck has well over 70 cards in it and because I can see the animal when I turn the card over some of them just say “canine” and so on…and when I turn the card over, I see a Wolf, Dog, Dingo, etc. sitting on it and know which animal has come. I have been using that deck since 1998 and it blows people's minds with its accuracy. Yours will also.

Hi D,
I've book marked my thread and also the instructions so I don't get it wrong. I can speak easliy to animals . Year ago I dabbled in reading cards for me and , Hubby. Doing this will not be easy as Hubby is interested in what I'm doing , not nosey . I don't want to hurt his feelings . I'll find a way .
What if animals start coming before I get my deck ? I ask this because they have . Do I mark them down in the order they appear and they're meaning?

Just write their names down for now and then add those names when you get the deck…just keep a list.
Don't assign a meaning yet….just their name. For the ones that you have a meaning for, go ahead and write it down.
Don't do it for the ones that come in the future.

D,
I plan to go to town next week to pick up my deck . I 've done as you've said and written the names down in the order that they came to me accept the last two , which are dragonfly and racoon . I have a strong feeling that they would prefer to be number 1 and 2 instead of crow and owl . Has this happened to you ?? Can they be changed or do they have to stay in the order that they came to me. I promise not to make this an ordeal for both of us.

It doesn't matter as there is no order to the animals that appear in the deck. There is no No. 1 or 2. Don't put a number on the card, just the animal's name.
You will be shuffling the deck when you do readings, so the order will constantly change.
Remember that you are working with animal spirits…with souls…and souls have no ego. They don't care when they are put in the deck, that they are.

Finally got to town and bought my two decks of cards. I 've followed your instructions, I've drawn two cards and will slowly add my animal friends as they come to me . This will be good for me because I start things and some times I move on to some thing else . Only the name of the animal goes on the card and the animal and the meaning goes in the note book correct?

Make sure you have at least 50-60 animals in your deck before you start the next step.
When you have that done, then draw a card ONE at a time. Write the message from the animal (one only) next to the animal's name in a notebook.
Take that card out of the deck so you do not draw it again. Do that until you have animals and messages for the whole deck.
Then stop and post back here.

Is this correct? For every card I've picked in my new deck a word has popped into my mind for the animal. Is it supposed to be this quick? Some words come faster then others.

You got it! That is exactly correct!
Some do come faster than others…just keep doing and make sure you are writing them down because that is the teaching you will always use for that animal.

Now that your deck and teachings are ready…I want you to surround the deck in an obsidian wrap, shuffle the deck, and draw TWO cards from the top of the deck.
Then I want you to do a reading for me based on your teachings for those two animals.
Remember that this deck is spiritual in nature more than, say a Tarot deck.
After you post the reading for those two animals, then set those cards aside.
I will respond to the reading once you post it.
One reading and only one reading.
Post it to this thread please.

I want you to take the teaching of each animal and post what it is. Then combine the two into an issue that is indicated by the two animals appearing together. That would be the reading.
Remember this is not like a Tarot deck. It is a spiritual deck and, as such, a lot of times the reading is more spiritual in nature while other times not.
When I do the readings, I see the cards, their meanings and then I type what is coming into my head from the animals.
Do not think about this. It should be fast as they will talk to you fast. Also, no matter how crazy sounding the message is to YOU, it will usually have a lot of meaning the person you are doing the reading for.
They are not meant to be long. Sometimes just a sentence or two is plenty.
Try one and lets see.

My first two cards are the giraffe and the zybra.
Both say that they are wild and free , but their home is getting smaller and they feel sadness.
This is strange, but since I've started this deck , it seems like all the animals in my deck have entered my energy field and are surrounding me , I've said a silent welcome to them, it may be crowded but very nice. I wasn't going to say anything but what the heck, I'm here to learn .
Now do I put the meanings under each animal in my notebook.

Remember that these are animal spirits that are bringing their teachings to you. They will not express dismay at how their species is doing on Earth…nor should you be taking them into your energy field. They will remain outside of that. Your mind/ego has gotten in the way of the messages.
This is a spiritual deck you are making.
I am glad you mentioned this.
Make sure that the messages come fast and are short and sweet…don't give your mind/ego time to filter the teaching.
That is why I told you to do them slowly because the more you stay focused on the deck in the beginning, the greater the chance of your mind/ego interfering with it.
Try it again.
It takes patience and practice.
